A note from Gail Hunter
There was something special in the air this year at our 10th annual Duck Derby! Such joy celebrating with so many of you who have supported Goodwill Hunters since its inception 15 years ago, as well as greeting new faces who came for the first time.
As one person said, “You could feel the sense of community and child like joy….. if was magical.”
Thank you to everyone who helped create such a fantastic Derby honoring Anjuli and Drew Hunter: Our generous Sponsors. Please continue to support them—they are essential to our community’s success. Karrie Greene, Sea Greene Art for her dedication and generosity, the Marshfield Cheerleaders for their enthusiastic participation, DJ Skip for his rocking tunes and infectious dancing, Mike Dimeo and crew for their invaluable help in releasing the ducks, the volunteer kayakers who brave the currents to collect every stray duck, Cindy Castro, Beach Administrator, for opening the snack bar & providing delicious food, Pudding Hill & Sanctuary Church for the loan of so many fun games, the volunteers who made everything run so smoothly and EVERYONE who bought ducks, donated, spread the word or participated in the BEST DERBY yet!
As we announce donations to various organizations and projects throughout the coming year, please know that it is YOU who make this possible. You are the wind beneath our wings!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Gail Hunter and the Goodwill Hunters Board
